like titanic or queen mary?
Nearly a 'must', IMO.
One of the tricks of submarine games and free roaming is that the player should never completely know "whats around the corner". If all we included was the KGV, the game world would have been kind of poor. So, expect more, much more.
;)
but forget about Titanic...

Why the Titanic? Do you know the Titanic sank on 15 April 1912?

...anyway, one of the first screenshots showed an ocean liner that was almost certainly the "Conte Verde" from SH4. I like that model, but I am a little surprised that they would blatantly recycle a SH4 ship like that. Maybe it's a sign that they didn't have enough time to design many civilian ships.

If it was an early screenshot, they may have just imported data they already had, before all new models had been built.

Seeing as the importance that Churchil placed on the Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth it would be interesting to 'affect' the war in such a way. There were however only a few famous liners in the second world war, though recreating scenarios like the sinking of the Athenia could give some history to the game and also perhaps a little video showing the outrage, death toll etc could bring more imersion and change the game from simply blowing things up to really telling the story of the U-boat campaign.

very true
a game is a story like a movie or book it has a start a finish and a plot
exept this story unlike movies or books is virtual your the star as the star you control your fate. you live you fight you die your story is what you make it.

But the Conte Verde was actually used in SH3 too, as the British AMC ;)
In SH4 I digged into it and found out what ship it really was.
As for Sh5... well... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SS_Conte_Rosso

RMS SS Andania Cunard Line Passenger Ship MS Andania was a British ocean liner, originally built for the Cunard Line in 1922. At the start of World War II, Andania was requisitioned for use as an armed merchant cruiser. Whilst engaged on these duties, she was torpedoed and badly damaged by German submarine U-A on 16 June 1940. All on board were rescued before the crippled liner sunk some 70 miles from Reykjavík.
