Hi guys, just wondered how promotion works in a campaign, is it linked to tonnage or renown? could someone enlighten me please.:hmmm:

any ideas how much renown for each rank?

I think to goes up by 2500 up until the rank after oberleutenant, then 4000(?) intervals after that.

1. promotion: 5.000
2. promotion: 15.000
3. promotion: 25.000

Those figures are for your CURRENT renown.
It is possible to spend yourself into a demotion.

F.eks., One has 6.000, and spends 1.500 on upgrades.
One is left with 4.500, and is demoted back to one's starting rank.

You may not have read anything wrong, and probably didn't

The figures I give are from Stock SH3.
There are many mods, with varrying systems.
If you are amonst those with a modded SH3, my figures may be entirely wrong for you.
