I know it may not be the biggest concern SubSim members are discussing nowdays, but still - it looks like they (again) didn't model VIIC tower correctly. I one of the previous posts (when people were still discussing the game and not the OSP/DRM) I posted that there is something wrong with the tower, but couldn't get my finger on it. Then I saw this post today, over at UBI SH5 forum...

SeeWolfU-571 has explained it nicely in this thread (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/1121062387/m/3451044928).

At least they got the darn deck railing correct this time (I hope).

I just hope they include visible damage to the Conning Tower this time. In all previous incarnations, the conning tower was indestuctible, atleast visually. It never had a scratch, despite holes the size of small cars being blown in the side of the hull.

If it was I didn't see it. And I have been visiting these forums lately every day.

it would be nice to see a correctly modeled tower in the game (also, it lacks the bended thingy that suposedly shields the crew from the wind).

but to be honest there are more pressing matters at hand.
