Found these cleaning out the closet, circa 1987. Both great reads. Sub Commander was a perfect companion for the original Silent Service (even Silent Hunter to an extent). Useful tips and strategies to play the game plus interesting historical background. Used to love reading this stuff, really made the games more fun to play...

I remember my copy of Microprose F-19, a great manual with a back story, same with Elite.

Now you are lucky to get a PDF one as they seem to think an online helpwith popup labels on the buttons is enough.
