Hi anyone!

I and one of my friends play SH3 with Time Compresion 1:1... We don't use acceleration time.
I know that we look crazy, but it's great fun. Contakt with enemy is big, emotion encounter. It isn't just "What I find? Small freighter?". It's bigger emotion. Especialy, when you return after 10 days o patrol (20-30 days of play [we don't play 24h/day]) and you suddenly are attacked by destroyer. You feel fear. So long patrol and can be lost by 1 DD....

But there was 2 problems. 1. Fatigue. Crew was exhausted after 3-4h (on GWX3.0). But quick change in one cfg files resolve problem. Now exhausted is 10 hour... But there is Big problem...:sunny:WEATHER!

Game chaning weather only during accelerated time.:damn:

Arghhh....
So I tried find resolve of that problem, but I can't. One person told about program to change weather in game save, but can't find them... It's better resolve than "no weather change". I can roll dice and choose weather for day, and do save at right time, change weather and load game...
But this is emergency resolve and I would have automatic and random weather change. And this is my question:

Do you know how can I in SH3+GWX3.0 set that weather can change during time compression x1?

And second if 1st is impossible. Do you know how can I change weather in game save?

I'm not exactly sure that wheather didn't change in 1:1.

Maybe you save and load to more?
SH3 has some "feature" that resets wheater timer to zero after load game.
In this case is very possible that timer couldn't achieve a value to change to next sort of weather.

Well... Maybe yes, maybe not.

How often i do save? Sometimes 3h sometimes 6h once I play 12h long...
But In this topic is one post "game changing waeather once per 3-4 days"... maybe my game wait when in "game time" pass these 3-4 days from last game save (what's meaning 3-4 days of non-stop game)?

But these advices of usung scene.dat may be useful. I tried accelerate "wind change speed" and I look what's will happen....

After tried. I set "use scene data weather than normal" (UseCotrollersWeatherData to TRUE)
Well... I start changing.... even too fast... But... Sun! Sun is on noon at 23:58.... But I'll test, what happen, when I do save and load with oryginal save dat. If sun go to hide and waether get "new" I can edit weather, so means "half succes".
ehhh. Sun stay at noon....

Or what is happen If I load at 12:00 and later do save...

Well, sometimes weather changes in few hours after game load (x128/x256), sometimes you must wait few days....
I noticed two cases when weather changed at x1 timer. Both of them when I was creeping to sneak inside to the well guarded convoy
(accelerate time when play with escorts is to risky!).

Yeah 'UseCotrollersWeatherData' setting is very powerfull!
You must be extremly carrefull when use it.
It happend to me once and then I need to end current patrol and start a new one to fix it.
Maybe someone know how to solve this problem without ending a patrol.

I saw one thing. I change weather in scene.dat, do save game, change scene.dat to oryginal, load game, and weather from scene.dat stay (even sun) in game... What's means that weather MUST be saved i game save.

Well Now I see only 3 ways to resolve problem:

1. Find program to editing save files from SH3
2. Find "timer" which count time to next weather change and change it down
3. Prepare few scene dat with sun at current hour (for example, dusk, dawn, noon) and use it to change weather

Well.... 1st opiton look as the best, but.... Has someone saw something like that?
