As much as i hate the whole DRM thing i cant help saying that i starting to get sick with the endless DRM threads on this forum. I mean why not have a dedicated DRM forum because i have a hard time finding anything on this forum related to sh-5 itself without turning into the DRM issue.

I disagree. DRM is the hot issue right now in the world of Silent Hunter 5. Take it away and, really, there wouldn't be much else to say. And, as I recall, you were begging for activity on this forum about a month ago. Well, now you have it. :03:

Or maybe we should try to do just like Webster asked yesterday, and try to stay within threads already started...? :hmmm:
But basicly, I agree. Would be nice to talk about something else also.

P.S. Check the "VII thread" again, please. Did you mention DRM somewhere, or is it just my eyes...? :)

Hey Oscar, DRM is a current and hot topic. Let's give this a week or so and then we can start corralling the DRM topics into a few threads. :salute:

Yes i understand it is a hot topic and there is indeed not much else to talk about. But i would just love to see something that can cheer us up ASAP.
I'm getting the impression that things are already subsiding anyways. The pitchforks are slowly lowering, the fire burning out of the torches.

Soon, the brouhaha will diminish and it will become quiet. We will listen then to The Silence of the Wallets.

Me too, i am all out of ammunition.
almost. a few 20mm Bullets, a rear Tube Steam-Torpedo and a couple of starshells still remain to be fired.
Said what needs to be said. Multiple times.

It's all been said. Those of us who are totally against Ubisoft's decision should now be quiet and see what happens in the fruition of time.
Ubisoft is certainly aware of the discontent generated by their decision. If they want to offer an off-line option at some point, then I and many others will happily buy the game.
Nothing is gained by continuing to flood subsim with negativity.
Let's move on. :DL

Maybe not of much interest right now with all the DRM thing, but, an interesting note in these days of desinformation. :DL
