Does anyone remember Gone Gold? I happened to run across Rich LaPorte at E3 many years back. He was in pretty bad health then, and I understand that was one of the reasons for shutting down GG. Anyone know how he's doing now?

I haven't heard from him in a little over a year. There are lots of people on http://www.octopusoverlords.com as well as http://www.gamingtrend.com

They are kind of the successor sites to gonegold. I certainly hope he is as well as someone facing his challenges could be.

Damn you are quick. I am actually one of those "staff members" that has tried to keep the community together following gonegold's demise.
