Lately I am pestered by the fact that every time an aircraft is sighted the boat is ordered (not by me) to go to periscope depth, even if I want to stay surfaced. I can order surface again but this is immediately countermanded by a new "periscope depth". I cannot remember to have set this up anywhere. Is there a choice....?...anyone...?

I encountered this too.
happens only if you decided that when have sighted enemy air-craft to go to PD and selected it as standard reaction.

jeeez, I can't remember where.

Sure - I want the the option, though. It might even be that the boat is damaged and shouldn't be taken down....

When presented with the options, it is always best to check "Maintain current orders", and then manualy take the proper action, as you see fit.

I have downed 22 planes, and only oce was i even forced to dive, let aloe gotten sunk. :D

(though i prefer the vierling to that gun over there :P)

Hey post a warning when showing scary photographs. When I saw the first one my instincts forced me to hit crash dive. Bad thing to do because the depth was only 30m and I was at 128X,::rotfl2:
