FIREWALL

So much for the time honored rule... "Finders Keepers, Losers Weepers".
I went into the kitchen to make a sandwich to fortify me during the DRM post Wars and looked down at the floor.
And low and behold there all by itself was a $10 bill.
Heading back to the den as I passed my wife she said.
What's with the big grin on your face.
I then told her about my good fortune.
Her response was... "With only 2 people living in this house and you didn't lose it guess who it belongs to ?"
Fork it over Buster. :cry::wah::wah::wah:
Ya shoulda said you found it outside.

The warden and I have a rule, if it makes it's way into the laundry, its mine, if its in the house lost, its hers, works out nicely that way.

Good on ya FIREWALL for telling the truth, you couldn't have lied to your wife anyway, it's called Love!!:yeah: I've been married now for 34 years, and love my wife probably more that when we first tied the knot!!:yep:
Hope I'm not overdoing the ham here!!:DL

I would have said part of the marriage vows:
I Plight Thee My Troth,
And all my worldly goods I Thee endow
Then hand over the sawbuck.
I also learned over the years to say,
Certainly, Darling!
instead of "Yes, Dear."
It doesn't mean I'm listening to her any more than normal, but it SOUNDS so Cary Grant.

Sounds like my ex-wife:
Her: "What's yours is mine."
Me: "And what's yours?"
Her: "That's mine, too!"
@ Jimbuna: 25 years, eh? That's exactly how long I've been divorced.
@ Reece: Would have been 34 years for me, too. If I had survived it.:dead:

It makes you think sometimes if it would have been easier and less painful to do the caveman thing :hmmm:
Drag em by the hair into your cave, do the deed and live the life of a free man after 7/10 years :DL
