View Full Version : It shall be great!

I think the concept of the new SHV is great. That they have limited the game a little from the start doesn't matter if that part is better developed and tested. It is obvious that add-ons shall occur pretty soon - covering the whole war and more versions of campaigns, vessels, airplanes and harbours. It doesn't matter if one have to pay a little for these add-ons as long as they work properly. The centralized set-up, with all kinds of options give the gamer the opportunity to tailor his game.

Just keep the original SHIII (GWX) and start out in an easy manner with the SHV. Give it a break! I am sure it shall be worth it. If it is a little different but can draw more customers its chance to survive for us others is better.

What I would liked on this new version is an upgraded, simpler to use, editor so that one could easier make ones own scenarios.

The work going on with Subwolves seems very interesting. It would give SHIII a totally new dimension. At the moment that might be a good vitalizer for the game.

Unfortunately there is nothing obvious about add ons to extend war/add subs
WE here would like to think thats the obvious course of the game but with Ubi you never can tell
A simple statement from them saying thats the plan would be welcome and a relief
But the marketing strategy for SH5 seems be totally fubar so far

They may wait for sales before deciding about addons and a quick glance over this and the ubi forums will tell you sales will be severely dented due the DRM they plan on using
So dont hold your breath

Its not the new concept sh-5 offers. I feel pretty confident about that. Its the DRM i,m worried about.

:hmmm: So Ubisoft has now formally announced add-ons? If not, then there is nothing "obvious" about it.

Sources so far indicate this is not the case...

Agreed....whilst I personally believe add-on/s will materialise, up to the time of me writing this post I have seen no evidence to support or suggest any future add-ons have been announced.

I "suspect" add-ons will come I too have seen no evidence that they are even in the thought processes of Ubisoft.
