Kudos for Mr. Cooper on a brave and selfless act. :salute:

Warning disturbing images.

Now about the photos. Is it just me or are they 'shopped'?

I mean the blood just doesent look right, like its been enhanced or something.

I hate to question the credibility of Mr. Cooper (I do like him), but is it just me or does that blood look impossibly bright?

Then again I've never seen a head wound in person, but I'm fairly certain most of the blood I've seen wasn't that flashy. I mean, to me, the blood on the kid's head just looks like ketchup or something :hmmm:

Heres an opinion piece on the matter.

I'd like to see the pictures from something a little more mainstream. Not sure of the reputation of the site with the pictures. But I will say this; head wounds, even small ones, can bleed profusely (accounting for the amount seen). The color of the blood depends a lot on the oxygen content of the blood. The more oxygen, the brighter it is. The brain obviously requires a lot of oxygen to keep us going. That being said the color looks very vivid, almost like...paint. But like I said, if there's pictures on a mainstream site that could help support/refute the pictures.

Note: I am not a medical professional, my information is based off of what I have picked up here and there in life.

Hmm, I don't see an actual wound. :hmm2:
There is plenty of odd looking blood but do you see any actual injury at his skull?
Looks all a bit odd to me but I'm no medic so it doesn't mean much.

Ya know - right or left, conservative or liberal, reporter for this or that network - people have made choices to help when they saw opportunity. Bless em all for it!

OK - maybe the pics are doctored? Does it change the fact the man tried to help. He had the opportunity and he took it. Good for him. If the network doctored it - thats the big heads at the network HQ that should get slammed.

But for every person there doing all they can when they have the shot - I will commend every one of em!

In some ways yes.

But I'm far from expecting integrity from the press now.

I truely believe that Mr Cooper acted bravely just as much as I believe that the media saw a chance to 'kick it up a notch'.

As to the source.. its "I am bored dot com" they merly parrot stuff thats out there. Where they got it from I'm not sure but I believe that some enterprising subsim member can find the source.

If they were fixed, they'll show up on http://photoshopdisasters.blogspot.com/ soon enough.

I wonder what the name of his new reality show is going to be.
