For that Interview. For the time, for tpressing the hard questions, for publishing it.
I am on this Boat.
New PC and all - i do not care. I want that deep-systems-simulator - and to help adding what i feel has been left out.

Thank you gentlemen.

(Thread for all those appreciating the interview, and want to say a few good words - whiners and b*tchers stay outside)

I missed only one thing.I wished there was more detailed explanaition on how the campaign will actually work.Apart from that the q&a is good.Though i am not a big fan of the answers ;)

Gustav, good idea...

For me, the Q & A sounds really promising. I think the devs learnt from former mistakes: they reduced the scope for a better implementation of things (one sub, campaign until '43). THis was their first good decision. Perhaps, there will be an addon with the second part of the war? This means for me: less bugs because of more hours of work in the physics

Second: there are wolfpacks in!!! Yes!!!

third: Modders will be happy, they said! This will do sh5 to the best sim we have ever seen, i am sure.

cmon guys, taking the fact they only have two years to biiuld a whole sim, they made the best from it (as it seems from this Q & A)

too much poeple are crying, they want to see in this and that: dont forget, they get only 2 years from ubisoft!

good interview though, I am a buyer, for sure.

over and out!:rock::rock::rock:

The GWX5 word!
It is useless to resist.

I honestly don't see that happening at the present...and am quite happy to be put on record.

There is so much talent out there in our community, I envisage a host of modders setting out their stall to work on the release.

About fifty to the dozen I should imagine :DL

It was many years ago since the embarrassing day when a young woman, with a baby in her arms, entered his dairy shop and confronted the milkman with the news that the baby was his and asked what was he going to do about it?
Finally he offered to provide her with free milk until the boy was 16. She agreed.
He had been counting the years off on his calendar, and one day the teenager who had been collecting the milk each week, came into the shop and said, "I`ll be 16 tomorrow."
"I know," said the milkman with a smile, "I`ve been counting too, tell your mother, when you take this bottle of milk home, that it is the last free milk she`ll get, and watch the expression on her face."
When the boy arrived home he told his mother. The woman nodded and said, "Son, go back to the milkman and tell him I have also had free bread, free meat, and free groceries for the last 16 years and watch the expression on HIS face!"

At the Subsim meeting 2009, they showed us some of the details for how it will work. The dynamic part is that you can influence the war around you. Its hard to explain, but its much more detailed than SH4.
It basicly means that your actions in an area will have a consequence.
