I wonder if they plan to update it before release?
http://silent-hunter.uk.ubi.com/silent-hunter-5/

Seriously, its kinda lacking any real content apart fromt he very first trailer and link to the forums.
How about some Screens? the Dev Q & A?, Games Specs etc?, A Museum would be nice too!

Yeah it'a bit weird!

Latest screenshots were from a russian site.
Latest video was from the German Ubi site (but not SH5 site)

And there are very few screens & videos on gamespot.com and ign.com

I wonder what's the reason behind all this. :hmmm:

no money, no time, no staff :88)

The community manager for the German SH5 must also support other games like Avatar, Rabbits Go Home, Shaun White Snowboarding, all these games with a broader customer base.

I was wondering what the target for the bashing would be after the game was run through. Now I know.

Right now it has the exact same content as this games website:
http://www.deusex3.com/
...and I should point out, that game isnt gonna be out for another year or more!

The first Deus Ex was great. I did not care for the second one.

Deus Ex used to be, in my opinion, the best FPS until F.E.A.R (1 and 2) came out.

I spent a lotta fun hours playing Deus Ex :salute:

Does that warrant the right to try ridicule? If you feel it appropriate to tsk tsk or act as such, for public display I ask then you pm me, if you feel it prudent to do so. Tread carefully my learner friend, as one finds you are obstinately bent on trying the fate of a sound verbal dressing down. You clearly are a vetran to a degree, and should know better, i have no quarrel but if you wish then PM me please. thank you. :nope:

Ok, 4Para, let's sort this out.

JU88 brought up Deus Ex 3, an in-development sequel to Deus Ex, a classic FPS role playing game, loved by many, with a very intriguing storyline involving conspiracy theories, the Illuminati, and a wealthy and powerful billionaire named Bob Page and his plans to take over the world. In the game, he was carrying out his plans using his own private army, known as Majestic 12.

Ok so now you're caught up with the basics of Deus Ex.

After JU88 and I reminisced a bit on how great that game was, you made the following comment:

One has to (feel) for the poor fellows that serve under your commands. ;) Good Day.

Not quite sure what you meant by that, I made the following joke:

So long as my crew aren't secret operatives for Bob Page and Majestic 12, they're prefectly safe.

Implying that if my crew in SH5 were not the "bad guys" from Deus Ex, all would be fine.

So you see, nothing to be offended about, nothing to take insult over. Just a good bit of Subsim forum fun. :D

Ummm, That was hardly 'ridicule' mate, just a bit of light hearted teasing (if anything) - I take as good as I give -and IMHO you took me a bit too seriously :D

(Here is the nicer version) Basically, what I was trying to say to you is that - Deus Ex is a classic game, and you should definatly look it up if you want to learn more. As dont think anyone particularly wants to write or a theasus on it . (Especially in the SHV forum.)

Anyway no offence was intended and I certainly have no quarrel with you either. :03:

just a bit of light hearted teasing

Anyway no offence was intended and I certainly have no quarrel with you either. :03: SirJU_88, I do thank you for your reply, much obliged, and i shall indeed attempt to acknowledge it in good faith, this time. Perhaps i was a little ambitious, as one had just returned from a verbal engagement with a devout but rather lacking individual in GT forum, keg thread, of which indeed served to dilute my struggle to understand and appreciate not, ones unexpected humorous teasing. So from hence i will think it no more than a undeserving interuption, i therefore desire sir to abrogate this matter, :yep: and shall simply push on. Bye your leave sir. :yeah:

Ok, 4Para, let's sort this out.

In justice to (your) posts, i see no cause for offence, alarm, or insult,? However at the time i did think your response to be somewhat vauge, i simply tried to grasp its meaning as i knew not of said game, and character names, therefor leaving my understanding of your post to remain in doubt. :06: Thank You. :)

Am I corect in my assumption you are from the land of the northern tribes....known by some as Scotland? Even as an Englishman, this egregious remark is unpardonable, this is sure to create a lot of noise from scots, and may add more justification, strength, to my posts in keg thread GTopics. Good Day, P.S Iam English, moved to Scotland.
