I added a bit on the forum signup welcome e-mail inviting new members to make an introductory post here, in the Comments to SUBSIM Review (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/forumdisplay.php?f=172) section, so we can welcome them into the forum...something I should have done about 39,400 members back :O:

So, if you see an unread "Hi, I'm new post", please consider a quick reply welcoming them. I think this will be helpful in promoting good relations. :salute:

A lot of us read every single thread and welcome every single new member in the regular forums. This seems a bit redundant to me.

But what the hey? It can't hurt.

Hey, Neal, I've changed my mind. Going to that forum every day presents a great opportunity for post paddi...er, I mean meeting new people.

Actually, as a rookie myself, I really liked it. I think it was thoughtful, and considerate.

:haha: Right you are! :yep:

If I send some over, it might need a haircut by the time it gets there though... I guess you could try passing it off as French cheese. :hmmm:
