Mod Help & Other Things Please.

I havent played SH3 in forever, I remember there was a couple of tools out there that made using mods easier and something that had "commander" in it.
I mainly want the one to switch from vanilla SH3 to the mods the easy way.

So you didn't try the search function then? Or even the Downloads section in the link at the top of the page? Not to beat up on the new guys but I'd suggest you try those two things first and continue to do that before posting. I could have given you the links myself, sure, but A) I'm in a very bad mood, and B) I'm obviously feeling just as lazy as you are.

Haha, eh ya I forget about that search feature, Ill try not to take your comments a bad way :hmmm: But I think Ive figured out what I need, Multi SH3 and SH3 Commander. Ive tried a few downloads but with no good results, most a broken, if someone could maybe submit the installers to filefront or something and post a link that would help.

JSGME is the mod enabler, in Downloads under Utilities. SH3 Commander is in Downloads in the Silent Hunter III section, don't know which subsection. Just do a search of Downloads, you'll find it. :)

JSGME is the one, thanks. By chance, do you know if there is a MultiSH3? Im aware of a MultiSH4, for some reason I feel as if I once had it. Also (me being lazy again) How do you go about installing mods for SH3.... Is it as follows?

In Ubisoft Folder copy all game files from SH3 into a new folder, named perhaps "GWX3.0" and then use jsgme to distinguish between the two and launch from jsgme?
Is this the correct method?
Also, Does anyone know of the mod for multiplayer that most have that makes the pings lower or makes it load faster, I forgot, its been a year since I played last I think.
Oh ya DAMO, its all cool, trust me, I have those days/mornings/nights.

There is a Multi SH3. I'm damned if I can find it at the moment though.
I'm sure it's on this site somewhere.
You don't launch the game from JSGME.
You do launch from SH3 Commander if you are running it.

All in all this is a great community and there are always people around to offer assistance.
