I've never been there myself but heard lots about it from guys that were stationed there. None of it good as I remember. :hmmm:

Judging from the news, a lot more military may be experiencing Guam. :hmmm:

All i know about Guam is:
- My old unit moved from Osan Ab Korea, to Anderson AB Guam.
- They have LOTS of frogs on Guam. (im assuming during raining season)
- One one TDY, during break one day while on the job site, Frog baseball for distance with broken sledgehammer handles was out when my supervisor crafted a frog cannon out of some scrap pipe, 1/4 " plate scrap, with an arc weilder and using oxyacetaline torch for combustion to launch said amphibian.
That's all i know. :D

Reminds me of that joke when I was a kid "Whats green and red and spins really fast? Frog in a blender http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/ae228/g2banything/gif/44grandes.gif
Sounds like more fun than a tater cannon, and you don't have to worry about a tater putting a hole in anything.

Oh yeah.. anywho, this all started with frogs. Last i heard, Guams got plenty of em.
Its all good, got some feedback from a couple members, although nobody mentioned frog baseball or amphibian launching.
Looks like Guam or bust maybe I'll open a Restaurant :D

Well, in the circle i came from (Civil/Combat Engineering), everyone probably had a high mechanical apptitude, was adaptable, and had a "Can Do" attitude that wasn't afraid to work. You get people like that, combined with boredom, and all sorts of things are liable to happen. Oxceyacetaline bombs out of AAFES cups or hospital condoms, 6 foot sling shot made out of 550 Cord strung between Two i beams.. that sort of thing. Frog baseball and a frog cannon fits right in. :D Man i had some good times. :yeah:
O.K. Combat Engineers on an island in the Pacific with combustibles and free time :o and an endless supply of Frogs  A whole lotta fun :salute:
