Feline Fuelled Games proudly presents the first English chapter of it's award winning campaign: Planescape: The Shaper of Dreams.
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=NWN2ModulesEnglish.Detail&id=408
(requires the Mask of the Betrayer add-on)
This is only the first of 6 chapters (which are already available in German). If we get a positive feedback of the English speaking community we will translate all the other chapters as well (the second is already in progress).
If you have any questions, remarks or criticism you are welcome to leave a comment either on nwvault or at our forum: http://www.felinefuelledgames.de/forum/forumdisplay.php?fid=13
Have fun.:salute:

Curious that they waited till after the release of Dragon Age. :|\\

Bah, if I had any disk space left I'd reinstall NWN2. Really need to get another hard drive...

We released the German version well before Dragon Age. The translation process however is pretty difficult (hey, this is not every day English) and we only have three people who can translate stuff into English.
It depends on the number of downloads and the feedback if we continue to translate the rest as well. So to all of you who download it please leave a comment and rate the mod on nwvault.
Cool - a Planescape campaign! I'll seriously have to think about reinstalling NWN2 again.
Any new playable races or classes?
Am I douche if I say I've never played NWN2?

The journey through the planes begins in chapter two or three (I'm not sure anymore but don't worry, you will spend plenty of time there:salute:).

No, no new classes.
@Dowly
You wouldn't like the campaign anyway, you have to play as a female character and the first chapter isn't full of blood (though the number of battles increases the farther you go in the campaign).:D

Whaaaaa?! I always play a gal char, tho there must be a nude mod so I can run around with my flaps hanging. :hmmm:

There are nude mods available (or at least I'm pretty sure, those are usually the first things to appear on mod sites....:hmm2:)
Then I shall try it. I've heard very good things about it, but never got around to try it. :hmmm:

How is Neverwinter Nights 2 compared to NWN1?

I liked both. The graphics are much better (not awesome though) and the stock campaign is enjoyable too. So is the add on Mask of the Betrayer but I can't recommend Storm of Zehir which is the third add on.
It should be pretty cheap by now too so I would say that you can't go wrong with it.

Ugh...I know that feeling. Once upon a time 250 gb seemed like such a large amount of space... :hmmm: :damn:

Yes! :D
Although if you play Dragon Age no point in trying out NWN 2 unless you wanna try out mods.
The ending of NWN2 annoyed me, never got the expansion to see what happens.

Mask of the Betrayer starts directly after the end of the original campaign and continues the story from there.

Ok, thanks! :)
As long as the gameplay is good, graphics doesn't matter so much.
Seems a bit expensive though, only 1 place that sells it. 449 SEK / €44
Maybe they'll bundle the base game with an expansion in the future like they did with NWN1.

Odd, here in Germany Amazon sells the Deluxe version (add ons Mask of the Betrayer and Storm of Zehir included) for 19,99€.

There's a pack called Neverwinter Nights Legends
# Neverwinter Nights
# Shadows Of Undrentide expansion
# Hordes Of The Underdark expansion
# Neverwinter Nights 2
# Bonus disc with NWN2 soundtrack + 140 page manual.
But it would mean getting a second copy of Neverwinter Nights + those 2 expansions. But it is about half the price of NWN2 that was on another gameshop.
But then I'd have to find the expansions...
They had the Deluxe edition listed but they don't have it in stock.
Annoying when you find games you're interested in but some years have passed since release and they become difficult to find. And Amazon/or other businesses outside Sweden wouldn't work since I don't have a VISA/Mastercard card. :)

Is there no Amazon in Sweden?:o

Nope.
I usually buy from Webhallen but if they don't have what I'm looking for I check other shops. Storms of Zehir is the only one they have in stock. Everything else NWN2 is sold out, no longer manufactured.
There's a Gamestop here where I live but they're usually quite expensive.

Ebay?

We have Tradera here, which is part of eBay.
Since the days serial numbers were introduced for PC games. Buying used games is a bit of a risk.
Yes, some sell new, I know. :)
I've contacted 2 shops about when/if they will get it in stock. It's just a waiting game now. :)

If I may, I looked at your profile, there appears no visible connection between you and Feline Fuelled Games and/or NWN2, and you use the term "we".
What is your connection to the game please?

I am one of the translators and one of the voice actors. I have also done some of the beta testing too. Be assured that I am a member of the team.;)
The reason why I have nothing in my sig or profile to show that is, that our Forums are mainly German. So far there is only a "Shaper of Dreams" subforum in English which has just been installed two days ago. So it wouldn't have made much sense to link there.
..one of the voice actors.
Just for this I'm going to hunt down a copy of NWN2 for me. :O:

Meh.. I take SoZ any time over MotB. But as with many things, this is just a matter of opinion. :D
But yea, both games are great. I still play both when I find the time, or just feel like some dungeon crawling.
I will take a look at the modules/campaign. The comments so far over at the vault make it sound very promising. :salute:

After more than 2400 downloads and an average vote of 9.91 out of ten for chapter one we are proud to present chapter two!:D

Do you know, I got Dragon Age and I got Mass Effect and although both games have got great stories, interesting characters and superb background worlds (Dragon age in particular,) I just can't get into them too much. NWN2, though, jut works for me. I'm a DnD fan, though, so I expect it's something to do with the mechanics. I'm actually going to reinstall 'Baldur's Gate' this week. Does anyone know whether it runs ok on 64 bit Windows 7?
I really have to reinstall NWN2 as well. I had some really nice maps I'd built for a campaign I never got around to finishing (the scripting was just beyond me in the end.) I really must try this campaign out.
