Hi guys,

I would like to go back to IL2 and try it again. I used the dynamic campaign generator to do missions and this was great although the thing seemed to drag on forever and I never seemed sure what I was fighting for...

I want to experience the BoB and the Ardennes campaign from a German point of view. I want to experience what a pilot back then would have experienced.

What's the best way to do this?

get the sim Battle of Britain II: wings of Victory.

there's no other sim out there that can give you the BoB experience

Yup BobII has better AI than IL2 even with mods and as far as replicating the BOB aircraft etc. it is the best out there at the moment IMHO.

As far as the Ardennes goes IL2 is the only one out there that covers that campaign at the moment as far as I'm aware. You could check out Mission for Today or the AAA forums to see if anyone over there knows of any Ardenne's campaigns.

When you put in your name, click on the 'Commander' part in front of it and you can choose being a pilot.
