A Gato is always best until toward the end when the Balao comes out.

Unfortunately they had to deal with what they were given, which means a Salmon or Perch out of Pearl, possibly one of those if you're at Manila but also a possibility of a 20-year-old 'S' Boat.

So if you just want to have fun and sink ships, take the Gato if you can get it.
