With the current list having been released today with some dubious :shifty: people getting awards, I wish to research a family member and to find out why they were awarded an OBE.

Does such a list exist?
Where the best place to start looking?

FYI asking the individual in question is not possible.

Do you know when they received the award? The Times usually has the list year by year so I'm told.

Yes I do. I have found the Archive Record from the The London Gazette, 11TH JUNE 1994 where it lists the notification of the award but I can't find any detail as to why it was awarded.

I'll check the Times to see if they have any further details.:yeah:

Edit - Nothing specific there. I wonder if the Honours Commission will divulge any info......
