Steam Christmas sale

I am surprised that no one has made a thread about this before, maybe alot of subsim people do not like Steam ?

Anyway they have daily deals and packs with discounts until 3rd january.

I have gotten some nice deals during the week and I have spent about 26 Euros in total on:

- Chains
- Indigo Prophecy
- Audiosurf
- Bioshock
- GTA IV
- Max Payne I
- Max Payne II

The two latter are in todays deal if anyones interested.

Can I sell my book/game/stuff here? No, unless you receive specific permission from the Admin. We also advise against advertising or referring to other online game stores. This may seem greedy but this website costs several hundred dollars a month to keep online! We need all the help we can get and selling submarine and computer games helps. If you want to advertise for the competition, start your own forum and have at it.

I payed 26 Euros in total for those games.

And as far as advertising then of course I am not doing that, I have no financial interest in it, I just thought that since there is a general gaming forum I would give people a heads up because they have a sale at the moment. On all the other gaming forums that I frequent I have seen similar posts, but of course if the forum rules are strict to that effect then the post can just be deleted and I intended no harm :D

The only reason I mentioned anything is that I had seen mods in other forums on Subsim delete posts that mention Steam.

Well i reinstalled HL 2 and the episodes 1&2 so i can try out the mod 'Minerva' Metastasis (the expansions are need for this mod to work). The creator Adam Foster ended up getting hired by Valve cause of it. Two years in the making.
Just finished it map design is near perfect story is good keeps you busy, kinda same idea as farcry where theirs some tech communicating with you while moving through the levels. Found this mod better than Valves episodes 1 & 2 expansions. Starts off slow but around half way your in big big trouble trying to get out. This mod kicks ass. :yep: Am about to try out another HL2 mod called Riot act.

Was on sale for like 19.99 but looks like we missed the sale.

Still its a worty title if you like games like this.
