When I give the order "all crew to battle station" I don't see crew at the guns on deck,is that normal in the game?

In the navigation map I chance everything to metric,are messages from the sonar always in yards?

Yes it's correct. To have the crew man the guns you have to click 'Man The Deck Gun' and then you have to pick the individual members and put them in the deck gun slots yourself. Of course you can do that without manning battle stations. Battle Stations merely wakes everyone up and puts them on duty, thereby maximizing all the status bars.

i could be wrong but to man the deck guns would have been the "battle surface" order which the game doesnt have

what you do isd go to the gun station and order man the guns and fire at will then as soon as you have surfaced they do just that as you are wanting them to do, the same goes for the AA gun if its an airplane nearby or if you just want to be ready for anything

I get a message from my sonarman"range to the target is 5200",what would it be,km./yards/miles:oops::oops::oops:

yards, and for german i think it switches to meters but im not sure
