Record youtube videos ?

Anyone know of a good easy to use program that does a good job of recording youtube videos? There is a good video about "attacking two targets at once" I would like to record as well as others.

Thanks Meo, but the name Firefox scares me. I know it is a browser and that is all I know. About two weeks ago my computer cpu took off to 100% and started dumping my computer contents onto the web. I could not do anything to control my computer. I had to pull the powerplug and investigate. Found Firefoxupdater.exe was responsible and had to get it off my machine. If anyone has had a similiar experience and wants to reply I would like that. Anyone know what firefoxupdater.exe really does. That was scary..........Thanks for reading

firefoxupdater.exe has nothing to do with Firefox itself. Sounds like you had a virus/trojan on your computer or still do.

Hmmm. Worked without a hitch for me.

I don't have enough RAM to run the converter, so I downloaded the player too.
Problem solved.

If you are using IE the file you are viewing in YouTube etc is saved automatically in a folder such as "C1WTU1AF" (there are a few of these to look through though), found in your C:\Documents and Settings\your profile\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5, the files are stored with the extension flv, all you need to do is copy the file where you want, download the free flv player and play them!!:yep:

As Reece put it. Just go to temporary internet files folder using IE or the cache folder using FireFox just after the browser has finished loading in the video. Look at the latest accessed files.
If IE, copy the file, if flv, mpg, avi, mp4, jpg or whatever, and paste it to your preferred location. VLC plays most videos, otherwise a FLV player.
If FF, it's the cache you have to look at, and there all files ar just given strange codes in the names, but it has worked for me so far to look at the latest accessed files, copied the largest one to a secure location and named it something like SH5preview.flv
You can even download a flv plugin for windows media player, if you prefer that player, but it doesn't always play those FLVs, so flv player or VLC are the best.
