TyphoonSSBN Mod for 1.4

Hey all,

I added the Skipjack and Ohio class mods just for fun and I'm really enjoying using and seeing the powers of these Newer class models. Though I do also enjoy using the old fleet boats as well..

I've always been intrigued by russian class submarines in particular the Typhoon, Foxtrot, November and Victor/Alpha class submarines. I know that there were Mods to play these submarines, however all of them that i've found are either
a) for 1.5

b) in the case of the typhoon/RedOctober, I've found the D/L links, but they don't work through JGSME

If anyone can send me the links for mods letting me play these ships, that'd be wonderfull

I've got the Red October and the Typhoon. I also have the old 688i mod, I'll try to upload them today. Oh and if you're patient enough I'm working on a better version of the 688i for 1.4.:woot:

That's any easy one. Click on the Downloads link( it has a "now open" bubble next to it) at the top of the page. From there select Silent Hunter 4 and then Gameplay mods.:up:

However, if you really want to make my christmas wonderful, would you happen to have the november/foxtrot Mod for 1.4 laying around as well?

Here's the link to the thread about them. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=142663 the download link is in the OP's signature. Not sure if it's 1.4 compatible or not and it looks like it's geared to RFB+RSRD but should still work in a stock game.

Well hopefully it will work with 1.4 as when i PMd the OP, he said it was only for 1.5 atm..Will try. Also, I have RFB and RSRDC so it might work for that as well.

One question, would you recommend TMO? I'm currently using RFB&RSRDC.. but I find the lack merchant traffic compared to stock slightly disheartening

The mod for Foxtrot/November works.. well. Haha it was modded for 1.5 I believe as there are 3 new campaigns moded in Holly Loch UK, California and California 43.

The only thing is, if I choose those other campaigns, I can play the game, I'm just missing a Conning tower and periscope:har:


The Foxtrot works beautifully, however the november runs into the same problems as the gato and balao/ Holly Loch campaigns.. no coning tower:damn:

Krauter I've heard that TMO is not for the faint of heart. Those seeking suicide will love the aircraft and DD's in TMO. I play RFB+RSRD and the only thing I don't like (which isn't RFB or RSRD fault) is the medals. I find the hunt for merchant traffic part of the fun.
