It is time to contribute to this site. Where else can you see the likes of Ducimus, Webster, Peabody, Gutted, Gunfighter, Fred, Lurker, and all of the other contributors, in action, learn about MoBo, celestial navigation, and watch Rockin Robbins praise us one day and tell us the next that when we look in the mirror we will never see a finer, dumber specimen than the person staring back at us? Under 14 and you get a psss, but high schoolers should be able to shell out a few bucks, and if you are over 30, there is no excuse for not contributing twenty-five bucks or more.

We all know that Neal will use the money for a trip to Switzerland to inspect its ageing sub fleet, but what the hell, he has earned it, and we are having fun screwing up our computers with all of the mods.

Make yourself a present and make your fellow captains proud.

p.s. I had a reinstall issue and when I called Ubisoft tech support I was told that of all the games out there, Silent Hunter has the most committed, serious captains. They referred to us as "hardcore." They got that right.

you like subsim a lot more then many of the people you bought gifts for so pitch in and help neal.

it costs a lot of money to keep this site running and i dont think neal is on bill gates christmas list so no big donors are sending in huge checks so its up to you and me to pitch in.

Women in Switzerland! That reminds of one of my wilder stories.

I spent a night at Hotel Touring Balance, situated in the heart of Geneva, years ago. I ended up partying with an Italian (Eleanora), who I met at the bank and took to dinner, and her French girlfriend (Francois) who joined us in my hotel room. The Italian stayed, we knocked out the room's mini bar, and the next morning when I departed for Club Med in France for a skiing vacation, I told the woman at the front desk that I shoujld be charged for a room for two rather than for one hotel guest, and that the woman still in the room should not be disturbed because she was still asleep. She responeded, "Le mini?". It took me a minute before I realized she was asking whether I used the mini bar. I replied, "Just charge me for the whole bar."

A week later the three us, Eleonora, Francois, and me, spent New Year's eve at a hotel in the Swiss Alps--I think in Grindelwald. I passed out at 4 a.m. after a night of drinking and dancing. We ordered room service the next morning. When the man delivered coffee and croissants saw two women under the covers, he looked at me and said "Oh, la, la, miseure."

Done, did, thinking on a subscription. Neal is a great guy (putting up with me, he has to be). I know the internet would be a different place without subsim, a place I wouldnt want to know that is.
