reinstalled sh3 , now can't run the game

Sh3 used to run great for me, but now after reinstall try to start game and get a pink spotted screen that turns to solid green and have to Cnt alt del
to get out of it. SH4 does the same thing now.

have tweaked video card= no luck

specs win xp sp3 , gateway p4 2.60gigs, 2 gig ram , nvidia geforce 6200

looked for old versions of folders and jgsme but not on system

updated video driver = no luck
went back to driver when games worked = no luck

also battle of britain 2 and falcon 4.0 alled force work great

I have done a forum search but no luck either

need help to play again !!!!

Hi; did you recently update your Nvidia drivers? I was unable to play with my GTX 260 until I rolled back the drivers to an earlier version.

rolled back driver to original ; still have a green screen then a fatal crash :damn:

Had that once (9600GT) after updating drivers... And I also reinstalled the game and found that it wasn't the problem. Then I got pissed and just cleared the graphic card and all it's drivers to re-install the damned thing and it worked. Never understood what had gone wrong though so it may or may not fix your problem. I was going to recommend you use the Driver Cleaner (www.drivercleaner.net (http://www.drivercleaner.net)) tool but just realized it ain't free anymore so I'd suggest finding an alternative... Or hopping by your favorite torrent search engine to see what you can find :cool:

Are you using Nhancer or a similar program?

What resolution are you trying to play at?

Also, are you using a widescreen mod or a custom resolution?

not using nhancer or any other program

running at 1024 x 768

not normal rez , no wide screen

........reinstalled video card with original driver, no luck ; downloaded newest drivers ,,,, still have a green screen and crash after copy protection check

Just reinstalled another ubisoft game , pacific fighters , and it works great

still waiting for an answer ; the only difference I can see is I'm running sp3 now on xp

Delete intro video files or move them,mine did the same,I did that and bingo worked a treat:up:
