Against All Odds Mission

Hi, I love this game but the one problem I am having is completing the Against all Odds mission. Could someone please ponit me in the right direction with a few hints.

It's a stock Quick Mission.

Welcome aboard Radar!

I get close to the bottom and make an all-out run for it. when a a destroyer or gunboat passes over you order a course change and then go back to the exit heading. it seems to work for me..

it helps if you open the mis file and change your sub height to -18.0 so you start at periscope depth to give you a better chance.

in reality in that location you wouldnt be cruising along on the surface anyway
