USS Kraken Captain Rockin Robbins after viewing what appeared to be a full task force, and cruisers, with an apparent battleship following behind the cruisers.

[Rockin Robbins]

"It's a HUGE convoy in the middle of the South China Sea, a very large target dead center moving 20 knots, Cap, what do you figure it is?"

"We haven't got a good shot at a Jap flattop all war. Set all forward tubes for zero gyro and 20' depth. We'll shoot all six! Hey Bozo! Considering where we are, what do you think that thing is, the USS Essex?"

Them scurvy dogs in my crew cast me adrift in a life raft, last I saw of them they were painting something on the conning tower as they sailed away.
