Mr. Reid your not really helping your cause. :nope:
Freakin psycos in congress these days.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid took his GOP-blasting rhetoric to a new level Monday, comparing Republicans who oppose health care reform to lawmakers who clung to the institution of slavery more than a century ago.

I think the sooner Mr. Reid can be replaced the better off everyone will be.
From what I hear, the citizens of NV may be online with this.
Party and congressional leaders really need to think before they speak. :yep:

Those would be called elections and should be up to the citizens of the 9th district of California and the citizens of Nevada.

Oh there good as gone trust me. Their approval rating is below Obama's.
My fear is their thinking is "Lets hurry up and ram this thing through while we still have a chance".
Im pretty sure they know their time is comming. If they dont then well their just oblivious.

Lol, Fox News.
Would you rather I quote CNN... oh I'm sorry they seemed to have overlooked this story.
Oh wait heres something from ABC news....
ABC News' Z. Byron Wolf reports: Senators and staffers watched CSPAN breathlessly from their offices Wednesday evening as Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid indicated they might not have to work this weekend.
The Senate has been working at a breakneck pace (for the Senate) on the health reform legislation. Lawmakers worked all last weekend on Democrats' health reform bill and they worked the Saturday before Thanksgiving and all signs indicated they would work this coming weekend too.

I say we use a play from the democrat's play book; add a bunch of pork barrel riders to the bill. Triple our navy size by 2012 (create jobs:woot:), a 150% tax on union dues, a congressional salary tax of 200% on any congressmen making more than $15 an hour, extend the Bush child tax credit another 100 years, an eco tax of 300% on hybrid cars to pay for health lawsuits for the people who manufacture the car's batteries. $300 billion in educational spending on private and charter schools, $120 billion subsidy to the cattle industry to improve cattle living conditions, such as which music the cows like more Bach or Tchaikovski, French mineralwater in the stalls, high grade alalpha biscotti. Since this unfair to the other industries, the same funding for chicken, turkey, and ostrich farmers.
Lol, Fox News.
So what are you implying? That Reid didn't say that?

From the standpoint of a taxpayer who has to fund this stuff, I'd say that pork barrel riders suck regardless of which party creates them.

I believe that Reid knows that he is in trouble. He's been running campaign adds every day for the last 6 months. I don't watch that much TV but I will see 5 or 6 everyday and there are about 8 or 10 different adds. They are on all day but very heavy in prime time.
As of now he's behind in the polls to just about "anybody".

PS nikimcbee Don't give the Dems any ideas they might think all that stuff is a real good idea. :know: :know: :haha: :haha:

Actually I think he got the ideas from the Dems.
About the ads. I (fortunatly) havent seen them as I suppose its a district thing. Thank god cause my TV sets wouldent last long with that drubbing. But anyhow....... what is the content of the commercials?
Begging for healthcare to pass?
Begging to keep his seat?
Building a shrine to Peolosi?

All three of the above. Health care and all the job he "created" in Nevada.
I now know that he likes little kids and puppies.
The current one he's telling us that he is the most powerful Senator in DC and we should keep him that way. Why? more profit for him I believe.
Most of the time I mute the sound so I not really sure what he's saying 'cause I don't care but I do know what he's doing and I don't like it one little bit.

Nope, just that if you're going to pick a good news source that's generally unbiased or for that matter accurate, Fox would not be your wisest option.

Fox is no less biased or accurate than ABC or MSNBC. It's just not the first choice of socialist progressives...
