I have been wondering if any of the Devs have thought about putting in Historical convoys in the game. I played at a gaming site online that a very talented person basicly rewrote the campaign in Sh3 and put in historical convoys and a precise times that they appeared during the war years 1939-1945. They are presently still playing the game using 1 -2 days realtime. We have updates everyso often that are added to game and everyone changes their campaign updates when he post the new update. Compositions of 50- 60 ships in convoys is not uncommon. This person is very savey of the time period and is a huge asset in our Wargaming community. He gets alot of his ship compostion from www.warsailors.com (http://www.warsailors.com) to be used in game.
It would be great if the Devs could do something like this for Silenthunter 5. If not they should get ahold of this person to get his input with you as he would luvworking for a company such as Ubisoft.
It would even be nicer if there will be an editor to making our own missions in sh5. So that a very detailed manual telling you how to use the editor to make your missions ,as in sh3 we finally figured it out but was a lot of work to be able to figure out all things need to know to make our own missions with a lot of detail..
We thankyou very much Ubisoft-Romania for sticking to the Silenthunter series and making it one of the most enjoyable and realistic Sub games that I have ever played and I know to a lot of other players appreciate your work even though we sometimes harp alot on content in game. We look forward to Silenthunter 5 and it looks like its shaping up as a very promising sequel to Sh3.
Thanks from the sub sim community
