If reality weren't a constriction, I'd ask for at least omnipotence. I'm not sure if I'd want omniscience to go along with it, though.
Otherwise, when it comes to reality, I just want to get a new PC and various PC games and some to go w/my PSP.

World peace.
A glass of Port, a bit of cake and the right to laugh at you when I get
what I want, but you don't get world peace, global domination, SHV and
eyes that shoot lasers etc.
;)
1) World peace,
2) Infinate natural resources,
3) Invulnerable animals.
More realistically:
1) The World at War boxset
2) ArmA
3) Harry Turtledoves World War series
4) Turkey
5) Day off work
Since the relationship between my stepdaughter and me is more like big brother and little sister, I want one of those (http://www.hasbro.com/nerf/en-US/shop/details.cfm?guid=940C0CA6-6D40-1014-8BF0-9EFBF894F9D4&product_id=22379&src=endeca) for the ultimate evil big brother world domination! :D

I took my kids to a "breakfast with santa" this morning as a fundraiser for the local community center. I was wearing both a Carolina Panther shirt and my Panther Jacket. When they were done, Santa asked my son "what does your Dad want for Christmas"? My son shrugged, and I couldn't help it - I said:
"Santa - all I want for Christmas - is a new head coach!"
The guy chuckled and said "Well I won't promise it, but it looks like you have been good!" A number of the Dads waiting in line were laughing.
So that tops my list.
I don't really want world peace. Its a wonderful ideal - but sooner or later someone would screw it up.
I want my presidential candidate paperwork to suddenly become simple.
I want someone qualified and serious to head up my campaign.
But much more important, I want a citizenry that wakes up and pays real attention to where their politicians on either side of the "isle" are taking them.
I want other people with a belief in the constitution to run for public office, even though its hard.
And on a really selfish note - I want the SH5 team to allow me to help Beta Test SH5 for them.
Get a refund Dowly, must be a design fault. Damn arses, I hear they're full of **** :03:

I don't really want anything, and in our family, we decided to buy just one present for one of the others by drawing a random name and for a max price of 500DKK. The only exception is for my 2 year old nephew, who will get some more presents than the rest of us (adults).
My only wishes are not material, so who could give it to me anyway...?

I appreciate it but my wife asked me what I wanted. I told her Fallout 3. She gets me one thing because that is usually all I ask for. Anything extra is a bonus. So, I have to let her make the purchase. I will also ask her to get The Pitt and Operations add on.

Fair enough, but why not ask for the GOTY then? (base game + all the DLC.) :06:
A lot cheaper than game and all dlc separate. :yep:

I was looking at the first Fall Out. Apparently does not run on Vista from what I'm seeing. I will have her go to Amazon. I can get all of it for $66.00. I can also send her to Game Stop. This store sells used games and I have seen this their for good price.
The game does look very interesting and different from what I usually play which is normally WW2 sims. As of late just SH4 and COD WOW.

COD WOW is a WWII sim?! :O:
Imho, Bethesda makes a good RPG. Fallout 3 is more mature than the TES games, in several ways. Can't say anything about the first 2 games though, and whether they work or not; still need to pick up that collector's pack. :hmmm:

I was very naughty and checked my public wish list @ Amazon this morning, and my top 7 items have apparently all been loaded aboard Santa's sleigh with my name attached. Some days, it's good to be me.
Okay, they were all fairly small things and nothing on there was over $15, but at the very least it means I'll be getting 7 *less* items this year that I don't want, don't need, and/or can't use, and won't feel like a heel come January when I'm giving away or throwing out stuff that other people wasted their hard-earned money on. I hate when that happens.

Okay, when I read that in my head, it totally sounded like "for tha laaay-deeees" when I got to that part. And it made me laugh, so you get an extra puppy. :yeah:
Actually what I'd really like is time to start playing SH3 again... I didn't get far past the Academy before I stumbled on Subsim and started downloading mods and then I waited for my new computer, since I knew it would be an exercise in constant frustration trying to play with them installed on the old one. Seems like I'd just got my new system set up and everything installed on it when the holiday "OMG IT'S ALMOST CHRISTMAS" thing hit and now I'm spending most of my free time trying to get everything done for that.
Oh well - I've got vacation time coming along with the usual holiday off-days, so I'm hoping I'll get everything else taken care of and be able to spend some quality time with whatever sad, unfortunate crew gets stuck with me for a kommandant. I must remember to get the No Instant Death mod, or whatever it's called, so I can post cheery holiday screenshots of my crew awaiting whatever horrible fate eventually awaits them at the bottom of some deep, dark portion of the Atlantic.
And I must offer kudos to the folks in my "real life" who stepped up and got those items on my wish list - out of the seven I know most of them were "combat related" in some way, lol. I don't know if they just looked at the list and shook their heads and said "whatever" and decided to go ahead and enable my "issues" anyway or what, but I gotta love 'em. :DL

I want the SS United States, docked in a Penn shipyard, for Christmas
and if I can't have her ...
I pray someone would save her from the salvage boats ready to take her overseas for scrapping.
She's just too nice: 990 feet, 54,000 tons, transalantic record holder, still holds the best record
SS United States at a Glance:
Designed by William Francis Gibbs of Gibbs & Cox
Built at Newport News Shipbuilding & Drydock Co.
990 Feet (301.7M) in length
101.5 Feet (30.5M) in beam
180 Feet (54.8M) keel to funnel
31 Feet (9.4M) draft
53,290 gross tons
Largest passenger liner constructed in the US
12 decks
Over 240,000 total shaft horsepower
8 oil fired boilers, 4 steam turbines, geared to quadruple screw
Over 40 knot top speed
11,000 mile range
31 knot cruise speed at approximately 2/3 power
In 1952 made the fastest Atlantic crossing in 3 days, 10 hours, 40 minutes, still holds westbound record today
Service career 1952 - 1969
Cost $79 million
1,972 passengers, 1,011 crewmembers
695 staterooms
http://www.ss-united-states.net/ (http://www.ss-united-states.net/)
The American-built SS UNITED STATES shattered all trans-Atlantic speed records on her maiden voyage in 1952 and remains the fastest passenger liner ever built.
