I had the pleasure of ordering and setting up the most kickazz laptop I have ever laid my hands on today, and man was it sweet.

The CEO approached me about getting a laptop for the President of the company so we could pass his down to a sales person. So I put together some modest quotes and the CEO said beef it up, I asked how much, and he said beef it! Ok, noooo problem. (I like how these titles float around in this small company)

This unit is a Dell XPS 16 and the specs are below and I should have brought it home for a weeks worth of testing just in case something was wrong :haha:

About the price, could have bought 2 decent laptops for the same price.

That is more or less the laptop I'm running (though I have the slightly older model with a lesser video card and lower end display). Though i only payed about 2500$ Canadian for mine

I think Office was about $400 of the cost, so that would be about right....

Perhaps if he waited four months or so he could have gotten one of the first quad cores for notebooks. I'm sure he'd never notice the difference though, it's a beast as is.

You could pick up a netbook from CostCo which would do the precise same thing for about 300 bucks, tops.
