My dog threw up on my bed last night at 11:30pm... had to wash the sheets and comforter and it took a long time so i didnt get as much sleep as i wanted.

Clearly, it is GWX's fault because of the rough seas making my dog sea sick.

Furthermore, When i was playing Microsoft Flight Simulator X on my work computer, i had this occasional strange flicker of the sky textures.

I got that fixed, but it was no doubt some sort of corruption within the GWX file set on the computer at home. :stare:

this morning i went to play Company of Heroes... but then i remembered that it was uninstalled, boxed, and sold to my buddy Chad.

If it wern't for GWX i probably would still be playing Company of Heroes - at least occasionally!

thanks for nothing GWX / Dev team :stare::stare::stare:

Im sure he would find something bigger than even Jim recommends.

but like Jim... Kapt. Lehmann knows i wouldnt bad mouth GWX in the slightest

EDIT: except for the fact that my dogs illness, flight sim and COH issues are CLEARLY the fault of GWX! hehehe

I'm sorry, but I have to agree with GR about crappy GWX.

Since installing the mod I've been harangued by cries of 'aren't you coming to bed yet' and 'are you still playing that crappy game', so even my wife agrees that GWX is crappy.:03:

I've endured endless sleepless nights, not because of my young daughters but because I've just... needed... one... more... shot... at the... convoy.

I've spent hours searching for objects in game that someone has told me are there (bloody Cyclops, dolphins, icebergs, wolves etc.) and even had to learn how to use the Campaign Editor so I could see some of them.:nope:

I've suffered endless CTDs because of stoopid mistakes I've made in my cack handed attempts at modding, and have suffered endless reinstalls due to my attempts seriously screwing up my install . The guys in these forums who have helped me put my very poor attempts back to life have been very understanding, particularly the one who mentioned MultiSH3...

It cost me an arm and a leg to upgrade my system so it could play SH4, just to find out that I prefer GWX.:nope:

I even had to go cold turkey for 6 months when work took me away from my computer and had to resort to snatching the occasional look at Subsim as I passed through somewhere with internet access.:damn:

Damn you GWX. Damn your addictive nature, and damn the team that brought so many changes to the game that it turned into a completely new experience and gave it a brand new lease of life. :yeah:

See, I don't have that problem. I learnt long ago just to send in SH3Cmdr. I mean, it's always been accused of screwing things up, so it just seemed logical (indeed, I'm now thinking of nicknaming it "Tiger")...

Don't let me get started on SH3 Commander! If the posts on SS are to be believed then it is not only a utility to allow many, many extra functions but is also the Root of all CTDs, the potential Destroyer of my Computer and very possibly the reason why we do not have Peace in Our Time.:nope:

As for JSGME, I like reinstalling from scratch every time I screw up a mod and I hate the ability to easily reverse any mod that I've installed but don't like. How dare you make it easy for us to enable and disable mods when it would be so much easier to just reinstall SH3 from scratch then update it and install GWX. :yeah:

Yeah, but you have to admit, I've given a lot of people something to whinge, bitch and moan about. I mean, were it not for SH3Cmdr and JSGME, all they'd have to blame for their stupidity is GWX.

Exactly! I demand a full refund for all the money that I've paid for mods over the years. Every single penny that I've paid for all these free mods...

Well, as long as the opposition doesn't send in John McClane with a loaded sidearm, a crowbar, and a roll of duct tape, that should do nicely.

A long time ago (no pun intended) on another board someone started a thread titled "What would it take to sink the Bismarck?"

One guy replied something to the effect of "A hammer, 40 feet of string and Tim Allen!"

From

http://www.grudge-match.com/History/mcclane-deathstar.shtml

The admiral has hastily directed his men to apprehend the vigilante wreaking havoc upon his brand new battlestation. "We must capture this renegade before he causes any more trouble on the Death Star. Our first target, Earth, will be in range in 24 hours. He must be stopped by then. If we fail, the Emperor will come here and punish us personally."

Behind them they hear a set of blast doors open. The admiral and his legion of storm troopers turn and see a horrifying sight. There sits Darth Vader, slumped over dead in a chair. He is wearing a Santa hat, and something is written in blood on Darth Vader's black cape. As they unfurl it, the admiral reads the message:

"Ho Ho Ho. Now I have a light saber!"

So, with Darth Vader out of the picture, and the Emperor "far, far away" (thus no Force to speak of), can John McClane stop the Death Star before it reaches Earth?

One guess on who won the popular vote. :D
