its Thanksgiving night, What are you thankful for?

I'm Thankful for our soldiers... the men and women still love our nation so much that they will answer the call of duty no matter where it may take them.

I'm Thankful for my wife... more often than not her patient demeanor and can do attitude that usually pushes aside obstacles and plows over barriers in life is the very stuff that holds us together.

I'm thankful for my Mother... every time i have fallen, she was there to help me up. Every time i have cried, her shoulder was available. every time i have experienced success... she was behind me the entire time.

I'm thankful for my Father... he has given me the guidance in life to make me the sort of man that i am today.

I'm thankful for NICU nurses... they have given my premie niece a fighting chance at growing stronger.

I'm thankful for my friends... there are times in my life where they were all i had, even if they didnt know it at the time.

I'm thankful to Christ... for saving my soul.

Well that's a tough act to follow. You seemed to cover all the big ones

I am especially thankful for my health. While there have been some issues over the years, my health could be a LOT worse. I am in pretty good shape, considering the shape I am in.

I am also thankful for my career. It pays pretty well, it is something that not only interests me but that I am good at. I have the respect of my peers and am actively sought out by specific government agencies to work their problems. It has taken almost 30 years to get to this point, but it was worth it.

I am thankful to The Frau for just putting up with me. Any woman who can put up with me is a saint. She is my closest critic and most severe friend. I know of no other person who I respect more and whose respect means so much to me. I don't know why she hung around me for the past 15 years. Women are weird like that. She had the one thing that I was looking for in a woman -- low standards in men. :yeah:

I keep telling her that I am attracted to her because of her "Three Bs" - Brains, Beauty, and a sense of humour.

It is her and I against the world, and I think we have a pretty good chance of winning.

I am very thankful for her to be in my life.
