Where do I dock my boat?

Greetings,
after a number of missions I go to my home port to dock and all I get is the option to refit, I have tried many different ports but thats it ..... HELP please?
My Brothwr in law has had the same problem too

Bases other than your home port where you can refit will be shown with the vertical anchor, as the one below.
