AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!! I just accidentally erased my whole career because I decided to delete some old saves, starting with the first one, and confirmed it without reading the confirmation window!! who'd'a thunk that it would delete all saves after it too!! OOF!! won't EVER do that again :oops:

just wanted to share that. feel a little better now. no big deal really anyhow, as my captain's name was Mahd Lehrner :03: since it was my first GWX3 with MaGui campaign; so lehrning the mahd, as it were; trying to move to full manual targeting.

now I guess i'll start a 'real' career, and do the whole start/leave the training missions thing to get the extra 1500 reknown.

curious tho .... can I go into my sh3 saves folder and manually delete them? or would that mess s**t up? That saves list can get kinda annoyingly long.

no such luck. completely gone. s'fine, that was kinda an experimental test campaign anyhow. i'll start a new one today i think. and make regular backups of my saves folder :O:

I've heard it rumoured that keeping the 'player' name in the saved game section helps to reduce the number of catastrophes....you might want to give that a try :hmmm:

When you go to the game screen to load a saved game you will see your list of saves. There should be one by default entitled 'player'......leave that one, some people delete it.
