Visual sub damage

I observed this when i got intercepted by 3 DD :dead: i smoked 2 of them saved the game couse i was pretty lucky that i survived + got nice kills.

My hull was like swiss cheese. now i quit game get time to play again and i see my hull is brand new. :rock::down:

Only way how i realised my ship is in bad shape was the engineering window showing damaged hull number and components.

So my questions are: Is the visual dmg persistant or not? And if not can it be moded that even after a load i see the visual dmg?

It's only temporary. It disappears when you re-load a saved game.

It's also just eye candy. If your boat was really swiss cheesed you wouldn't be going anywhere, except maybe Davey Jones Locker.:arrgh!:
