Had a circle runner; saw it veer right as soon as it went out. Got on the suface and turned but it hit at the stern.

Took 50% hull damage, mangled a lot of systems naturally, but I sat on the surface and repaired. Then headed for home.

On the way, ran into a small merchant and attacked with my last few forward tubes.

I'm using TMO, have that small event cam on, when suddenly I see...a torpedo heading for a submarine? My submarine... :hmmm:

'We're under attack!' pops up in the text box before circle runner number TWO destroys the boat... :dead:

I can see one happening, but another one on the very next attack?

Suicidal Torpedoman. Should have keelhauled him after the first one.

Wow, now THAT is bad luck! A wonder your ship wasn't entirely destroyed.

Nice screenshot

Well, it was totally destroyed the second time, as I had only 50% hull integity left thanks to the previous runner.

I was under the impression these things were very rare occurrences, but this is the 3rd or 4th instance of this I've seen since playing TMO. :hmmm:

I'm beginning to fear my own torpedoes more than the enemy... :-?

Next time might I suggest going Ahead Flank and deep. Reason being is if you set your torpedoes to run shallow then when it circles, bam!:dead:

Yep, I always set them shallow, might be why I'm noticing it so much. From now on I'll put on the speed and take 'er down as soon as the last one leaves the tube. ;)

That will wake you up in the morning. Plenty of hyphenated cuss words were heard in the conning tower, I should think.
