Signature woes

Neeeaaaaaaal!!!

Can you make the signature letter limit thing a wee bit higher? It's 163 letters atm IIRC and it's way too low.

Take my current sig for example, if I'd write something to it that would be the lenght of the signature, it would go over the limit. :doh:

EDIT: Oh and the text is messed up, atleast for me. Check some thread over at the flightsim boards and you see that the text under my sig isnt black as it should, but white. :dead:

Neal, any word on the sig issue?

Just to give an example of the problem:

WWIIOL Stug Commander (custom smiley here)
Kills/Deaths -- xx/xx

That example exceeds the maximum number of letters/numbers allowed at the moment. And what makes it worse is that if you use different color for the text then the BBcode needed to display the colored text is counted towards the maximum number of letters. :doh:

Excuse me for butting in Dowly but this is a similar problem to what I'm having:
For some reason I keep getting the following error when trying to edit my signature:
Your signature cannot be longer than 165 characters including BB code markup.Trying to change the link (to a shorter one) but no go, have edited and posted in the past with no trouble, shore don't look to be oversized to me, especially compared to a lot of others!:hmmm:http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/../images/smilies/39.gif

The new limit doesnt automatically affect sigs that were made before the limit came to be. That's why it gives you that error when you try to edit your sig, you'd need to get rid of quite abit of that before you're sig is within the limit.

Better but as you can see still had to chop it down, one more character and comes up with:
