Many greetings comrades,to those that may remember me of course.I apologize,I know it is somewhat off topic,but oh well.Great to be back,been busy trying to find work,iron parts of my life out and also looking after my sick dad.
You just cant keep a good dog down,especially us sea dogs.

Let me just say at this point that I only just found out about SHV and to be quite frank here,I ALMOST s**t myself with awe! the graphics look...:o!

Again,great to be back,and keep up the sinking! :arrgh!:

Thanks guys,just setting my most recent patrol up now,cant bloody wait to be honest,I have missed the howling wind in my ears.

@flag4 , I know,not the sort of place to discuss such things,but just for the record he has had Alzheimers for the last 4yrs,is in a care home with all the other lost souls,is 75 and all,so...you get the picture ;)

Again,so bloody good to don my dirty captain's hat again.

And how could I forget about Natalya!,she is one cute Ruskie! :D

Just before I go for now,I have one or two small problems.I seem to have misplaced some of my older mods,and really would like to find them again in the mods section,as I think they are quite useful (for me).If someone could just direct me to the following that would be great.

1- A decent flags mod for the ships,preferably one that includes ALL the insignia on the deck of the Bismarck,not sure if GWX3 includes it all as default,but probably does ;)

2- The most recent emblems mod,with plenty to choose from

3- A good periscope mod,that blacks out the peripheral graphics of the scope/s

4- The mod that gives us a red nav map at night (not critical,but is a good one)

5- A good smoke/fumes mod

6- And finally a good sound mod for the periscope raise/lower

Sorry for any inconvenience guys,but I get the feeling I may have either overwritten/deleted said mods from my disks.Which is why I bought a 300GB external hard drive to put EVERYTHING of value on!
