I think you'll want something that plays well with Silent Hunter V instead :). You'd have to go to some trouble to find a card that would not be good enough for SH3 as it's almost five years old.
If it's really only SH3 you care about, grab any mid-range card and you'll be more than ok.
If it's SHV, well... would you use SLI or not? You've obviously prepared for it.

I don't use SLI. SH V sounds great so lets go with that in mind. Brand preference or price isn't a matter.

I also play Il-2 46, But SH III for some reason dosen't play on my present card Geforce GTX 8800.
So I'm opting for an new card.
I also like to play CMBO, CMBB, CMAK,
One more thing I saw the previews for SH V, Exactly when is it out in 2010 is this date reliable or just another emplty promise?
I checked out the card recommendations and they seem to be DD3 Now my Motherboard supports DD2, so does this mean I have to buy a new Motherboard?

DD3 is faster and if you want a computer to end all computers, yes.
If you want to play the new games for the next 2 or 3 years, probably not.
