Strange Neighbors...

My neighbor or rather my neighbor's son is a curious piece of work.

The guy is in his mid 40's to early 50's is single and lives at home with his mom and has done so for at least a decade.

Last I heard he finally got a job... at McDonalds.

But none of that is really all that strange actually.

What is strange is that he sits in a car in his driveway at odd hours of the day/night and listens to the car sterio blasting with the windows rolled up.

Today he started at around 6 am maybe earlier and is still sitting there as I type this 5 hours later.

Last time he was out there at 4 am and it was so loud it woke up my wife. I had to go over there and tell him to turn it down.

When I approached the car he just sat there beer in hand staring foward off into space.

He gruffly responded and did turn it down... a little..

But this is just plain odd behaviour.

Takes all sorts, but yeah, I think a few marbles are rattling around the racetrack up top. There's a few people like that around here, you can see that the lights are on, but the house has been deserted for some time. :damn:

Honestly, if people want to blast their music, that's great, but get a set of headphones and blast away.

When we were younger and didn't have homes or apartments yet, we practically lived in our cars, but went home now and then to shower and sleep. But at 40ish, wow.

If I had to guess I'd say he is having problems with his mother coming down on him, his only escape is to the privacy of his own car, maybe she hates McDonalds!!:hmmm:
