View Full Version : The world according to Americans

This struck me as funny because some of the people I work with think this way...

I can see the humor in it.
However, personally, as an American... I dont actually feel that way

Sadly, I think you are giving Americans more credit than they deserve. If asked where coffee comes from they would say Starbucks. Funny map though! :haha:
Soon fix that.

LMAO :rotfl2:
We've just heard that scientists have discovered a meteor heading towards Earth.
They have calculated that it will strike the U.S.A. at around 2:00am tomorrow.
It will completely wipe out the U.S.A. from the face of the earth.
We in Britain are faced with a terrible dilemma: should we stay up and watch it live on TV, or record it and watch it after breakfast?

Wait, which side of the line is Newcastle on?:hmmm::haha:
Northern Bastids ;)
Not sure where the line is, I think anything north of Leicester I'd say. Mannies consider themselves northern, so the line can't be far south of that. :03: Then of course, you're into the Jockenese Empire ;)

As an ugly american I must mention that if the word "nuclear" hadn't been left off of the phrase "_ bombs go here" all would be right with the world. ;)

I had a high-school geography teacher use maps like that. It gives you a different perspective that's for sure. North is at the top only because someone decided it would be at the top.

Last month a world-wide survey was conducted by the UN. The only question asked was:-
"Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world?"
The survey was a huge failure because of the following:
In Eastern Europe they didn't know what "honest" meant.
In Western Europe they didn't know what "shortage" meant.
In Africa they didn't know what "food" meant.
In China they didn't know what "opinion" meant.
In the Middle East they didn't know what "solution" meant.
In South America they didn't know what "please" meant.
In the US they didn't know what "the rest of the world" meant. :D
