For the space fans out there

The launch team is now planning to come out of the current T-4 minute hold at 10:50 a.m. EDT, aiming for a liftoff at 10:54 a.m. The recycle of the launch vehicle went smoothly after the hold was called due to weather.http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/constellation/ares/flighttests/aresIx/index.html

CNN has a live feed of the launch also.

Dont know what their turn around time is but the weather is supposed to be overcast with rain for the next couple of days.

Its all because I cleaned my telescope :haha:

I really hope that this test goes well once they get it off the ground...things could be very bad if this test does not work out.

The rain has abated at least in the early hours of the day. It is still overcast.

We had one hellua storm come through here yesterday but they usually wait till late afternoon.

Perhaps they will get off this time.

Looks like the chute has deployed good. Upper stage water impact.

All in all, looks like a good launch. Well done NASA :yeah:
