I noticed in the recently issued set of screens from Battlefront they did not have any night shots and thought I'd remedy that for you guys, especially since night is so nicely portrayed in the game.

Note that my system is rather old (XP/DX9AGP/geforce 7800GS) and creaky so these shots are not at full quality however it will any of you with lesser systems like mine a good impression of how the game will look on your machines.

Searching - note the cool searchlight effect even on my jurassic rig.

Sinking Fast - note as seen here I managed to eliminate the horrible radar thing from the screen for details on how see my "My favourite PT-Boats bug (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=157539)" post.

Thanks, Though if I'd been just a second or two earlier with the print scren key in the last shot you would have actually seen one of the crew jump from the bridge wing in to the water, I kid you not.

This sim really has great potential. The developers placed a lot of love on it.
It is a pity the publishers do not have more faith on it and I am afraid they would not be much willing to invest a coin to improve it and specially to remove the arcade interface and layout.

I think things are improving, the video of the forthcoming addon looks like a step in the right direction with more coastline etc. Akella's publishing partnership with Battlefront.com is I think a very smart move on their part and it will I think be very beneficial for them. I hope its a success for them as I'd like to see a US Pacific addon and looking forward perhaps Akella may be persuaded to deliver us a "Destroyer Command" style game as a follow on.
