RSRD campaign and mission objetives

i'm having a problem with RSRD campaign with TMO 1.7

the message says "proceed to singapore - japan ship lanes and conduct anti-shipping operations"

but i sunk more than one ships who was stationary in the china coast and no sign of mission being complete, now i've found a convoy

what is the "trigger" of mission completion?

If I remember right RSRD will give you a radius from the star, about 100 miles you must stay in that area for the time given, usually 3 or 4 days.

Go after the convoy and sink em all. Worry about the mission later.
