Another Finnish ace passes on. Captain Kyösti Karhila died on 16. of September.
Karhila flew 304 sorties and downed 32 Soviet planes during the Continuation War.
F18 Hornet will make a pass over the Hietaniemi graveyard today between 14:00-14:30 in Captain Karhila's memory.

Yea, there was some talk about if or not they should make the fly over in his honour. I say go for it, we have hornet's flying over where I live pretty often. Or at least recently because of some war exercise.
