Why was CastleBravo keelhauled if i may be so bold as to ask?

been searching his posts and i cant seem to find anything which would warrant a permanent ban. :06:

just curious.

At least his last posts in the Balloon-thread are pretty blatant trolling, but I'm not sure if that's all there was.

I didn't delete the post but he targetted Neal in a way that was way disrespectful and given he has crossed the line before his time was up.

First, he was banned once before as Waste Gate. We looked the other way when he returned as CB.

Second, he was a persistent and blatant troll, and not a very clever one.

And last, not quite sure why he felt he needed to call me out in that thread, I have not mentioned him or replied to his threads in several months. But his comment about my daughter is unacceptable, she's a child. Shows what kind of person he is, and that kind is not allowed here.

By chance I entered his last thread this morning, which was already locked at that time but at that time did not include any attack on Neal, and when I went back to the forum overview, the thread already was deleted and no longer present.

It was about a public call for revolt and uprise of the military and police in the US agains the president, plus links to some suspicious organisation thinking that it has any business in that kind of affairs, and is publicly campaigning for overthrowing the president, and asks the security organs to revolt. The only thing I missed was to openly call for the assassination of Obama.

If CB did not fight with Neal (don't know), this post in itself already was critical in my judgement and was overstepping the line. A first time offender would have been seriously warned and received brigg time, but since CB had caused waves before, it was game over for him.

P.S. Posted while Neal posted too. His explanation overurles mine. Neal 1 Sky 0 :D

Wastegate was CB?

I'll be dog gone, sure fooled me ...

Now that I think of it they had the same M.O. of taunting you with something provovative so you would respond to him like;

"this problem with Obama or healthcare or whatever is none of your business if you don't live in America"

He was crusing for a brusing anyway ... :yep:

man! thats a bit out of line there.

I guess i didnt scroll down far enough.

I'm not questioning the authority of the mods or Neal to ban anyone... i was just curious as to what brought it on.

now i know.

after all it is perfectly natural and normal to go "whoa what the heck happened to get XXX kicked out of the club?"

at least i think its natural and normal to wonder such a thing.

Completely agreed.

I don't post here that often but in my opinion he had a serious issue with me. I do not know why. I am a Democrat but I am not "Liberal" I am right of that being "Progressive"

Oh well its over now. Hopefully he wont try to get back in.

That woud have been good to keep open, I havn't before seen a link quite like that one he posted.
I didn't realise so many crazy conspiracy theories could all fit in one website. I am not sure if my favourite was the one about the evil government doing biological warfare on the patriotic citizens or the government getting foriegn troops in to run the concentration camps in America

castle bravo was waste gate? orly? haha

wow imagine the odds of being added to my ignore list twice, under different usernames and without me knowing that it was the same guy all along!
I believe I had words with Takeda when he was a GT moderator regarding waste gate and his previous attitude here.
Just goes to show; a spade is always a spade ...as it were.

I always thought we needed a pinta around here ... you know one of those things you swing a stick at while your blind folded that spills out candy when you break it.

Make it a sticky see and invite all the banned people to post in it plus they are limited to just that thread.

Then we could bash them with a stick everytime they post in it till they go away ...:arrgh!::haha::woot:

In case you were wondering how the Navy takes care of these problems ...

Some sub saliors have had the **** kicked out of them the night before we go on patrol in the baseball field near the sub tender in Rota, Spain which settled the case of having to spend three months out at sea with someone you didn't like.

so another question.... what happens when you get keelhauled?

does a message pop up tell you that you have been banned and why?

or are you just suddenly logged out and unable to access your account?

light at the end of the tunnel?

nothing?

Shearwater

The guy sure gets a lot of attention after being banned from the forum (again). Just out of curiosity: Do you automatically get keelhauled after you've been in the brig for a set number of times?

If I recall right from my brig times, you get an window similar to that when you log in, except it tells that you are banned, the lenght of the ban and the reason. You can still browse the forums without logging in.

I was a little surprised that CB was WG.

Whilst CB was trolly and infuriating, I seam to remember WG being far,
far more trolly and infuriating.

WG was like some kind of parody.

NEAL: Isn't it possible to abn someone from GT only?
If someone can use all of the forum apart from the bit they cause
problems in then it might make it less likely that they will continuously
attempt to use new names and accounts.

I wonder what name WG/CB will use next...

Fishes splashing the water in one pool, tend to splash it in all pools.

Even in "my" small and quite corner of the forums, tanks, there have been one or two such cases, brigging them in tankforum, later seeing them keelhauled in GT forum anyway. Especially SubSerpent on my mind, who really costed me some nerves... Obviously he ruined some other guy's nerves just some time later, too, and that guy was just one too much.

So why inviting trouble by making it complicated. It's not worth it. Not crossing that red line is so easy, instead of doing something you just need to not do something - it can't get any easier. The rules are known; if you want to stay at subsim.com, you gotta behave in all forums you visit - basta.

Funny to see quite some names over the years getting keelhauled - after I already had some of them on my ignore list for longer time before. :D

Trolling and riling people up is one thing, but the problem with CB was that he made things very personal....as evidenced by the comments that got him banned.

He'd just spam up whatever forum he was allowed in with off topic crap. Every single one of his posts was in GT....he had no interest in sub sims at all.

Youve got a point there you've got people posting in here because theyve been banned or shunned from their political forum of choice and have little interest in submarine simulations at all.

I have to admit my interest in subsims have wanned some. Tho I do plan to purchase Silent Hunter 5 and I do hope another modern subsim comes around the corner that simulates the Kilo class. Tho for now other things are in front so I do come here to keep active in GT and General gaming.

I'm speechless:nope:. I don't see how anybody could insult your great family? All of your girls a great people. Why would anybody mess with them anyway, how stupid is that. I've seen what happens to critters that mess with your peppers, man, I would never mess with the family.:salute:

Speaking of CB=WG, I was reading some of the posts in the balloon thread, and it makes sense. WG was from Colorado, and he used to post a lot of stuff from colorado newspapers. Now look at CB's links, a lot of them are from colorado.:hmmm:

That would be inaccurate, your figure includes those previously keelhauled, so the work is less than it appears...
