Amazing and scary... Thinking about the guys in the sub.. what a tragedy.

Yes I've seen it before. That English Russia - site is good, lot's of WW2 etc. rare stuff from Russia & USSR there.

Good story, but a wee bit on the late side.

When the boat was raised by a salvage operation in 2001 there were considerable fears moving the wreck could trigger explosions.

It's not a bad thing to remember. :-?

Didn't know they recovered most of the dead, glad to hear it.
