Bismarck vs Hood, Revenge, and 8 Tribals

Bismarck :arrgh!:!!!

Took 2 tries at the same patrol (Revenge finished me off after I polished off the hood).

Hood - 48360 tons, Revenge 31000 tons, 8 Tribals 14800 tons, plus a few merchants bagged earlier for a total of 129268 tons in one patrol.

I could have gone for more shipping, but my rudders had been shot off and couldn't steer. So there's some historical accuracy there, even though it's slim. Unfortunately the only way I could return to base was to 'exit-patrol'. But after such success - I wasn't going to throw that away.

If you guys who're also experimenting with the warship mod want to try it out, I think it's the morning of January 24th, 1940. The task force heads south from Loch Ewe, towards the northern coast of Ireland.

Yea I just bagged a fat convoy with the Rodney in the middle. My Scharnhorst with its upgraded guns, 11" to 15" Bismark guns tore the Rodney apart at long range and sank her within minutes of the shooting. The Rodney and the destroyers landed smaller calibre naval fire on me 5" but I shrugged em off and kept hammering away on the convoy after the Rodney sunk.

Good effort,been trying for a while to get the WSM going but to no avail:damn: Had it work for 1 mission but got greedy wanted Bismark and managed to screw it up:nope:

Did manage to take a fair few in my Deutschland class tho

Such a good mod, just finished 1st patrol in Scharnhorst. Got 3 convoys and a few merchants for over 250K tons.

What dates do the warships start appearing in the convoys? Would really like to tackle one of the big boys, beats pummeling Dover, Calais or any other port I feel like spending 1hr shelling.

Anyone had aircraft attack yet, not seen my flak in action yet, might send a message to RAF to see if I can get some target practice:)

Yea flak tears aircraft apart.

The only negative thing about this mod is it is damn difficult to find British heavies to engage.

I raid port after port and 9 times out of ten there are only small cruisers at best.

Where is the King George, Hood, Warspite ETC. Tommy hides his fleet in Canada?

I hit Lock ewe, Scapa, etc. No luck.
